An author’s financial position does not influence editorial assessment, peer review, acceptance, or publication.
The journal maintains complete separation between editorial decision-making and financial matters. Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff assess manuscripts independently and without influence from sponsorship, advertising, institutional interests, or publication-related payments.
BJHS supports the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of published research. Published articles may be deposited in institutional repositories, subject repositories, and other recognized preservation systems in accordance with the journal's archiving arrangements. Technical information regarding digital preservation and archiving is maintained through the journal’s Digital Archiving Policy page.
The journal publishes clear information regarding its peer-review process, copyright and licensing terms, author rights, publication charges, ethical standards, and editorial procedures. Any structural revision to this Open Access Policy will be published transparently on the official journal website interface before it takes effect, guaranteeing predictable workflows for all inbound author entities.
