Editorial Workflow & Process

Believers Journal of Health Sciences (BJHS) follows a transparent, fair, and independent editorial process to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are assessed on the basis of academic quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope. The workflow involves sequential vetting checkpoints to maintain the absolute integrity of published healthcare research.

1. Manuscript Submission Authors route their text packets through the official digital submission gateway. Each entry must comply with the formatting specs, including accurate author metadata, university affiliation spans, declaration models, and institutional ethical clearances.
2. Initial Editorial Screening The Editorial Office conducts an immediate desk audit to verify scope alignment, file completeness, template compliance, plagiarism/text-overlap parameters, and the explicit inclusion of conflict disclosures. Files failing baseline quality indices are promptly returned or declined.
3. Editorial Assessment The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Handling Editor evaluates the manuscript for structural novelty, study design soundness, and clear contribution significance. Choices are executed independently, unaffected by author nationalities, backgrounds, or funding sources.
4. Double-Blind Peer Review Manuscripts passing desk vetting move to anonymous external evaluation. Vetted domain specialists check data collection accuracy, analysis methods, ethical compliance, and overall healthcare field implications, returning advisory recommendations.
5. Revision by Authors When revisions are mandated, authors provide a modified draft with changes tracked, backed by a comprehensive point-by-point response layout. Re-authored files face editor validation or route back to the original review panel.
6. Final Editorial Decision The final acceptance status is updated based on panel reviews, revision compliance tiers, and ethical benchmarks. Decisions map onto precise categories: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, Reject & Resubmit, or Outright Reject.
7. Copyediting & Proofreading Accepted texts move to production for copyediting, references verification, and layout formatting. Authors evaluate a final galley proof copy to quickly intercept and correct minor production or typographical errors.
8. Publication & Archiving Upon final approval, the article is allocated to its quarterly issue and published online. Full-text PDFs and structural XML indexing streams become instantly accessible to public readers and global databases.
Independence & Privacy Safeguards

All submitted manuscripts are handled as strictly confidential properties. Editors and peer evaluation panels are barred from using, sharing, or leaking unpublished data blocks before launch. Board mechanisms are driven entirely in line with COPE metrics and international publishing standards, guaranteeing neutral and un-influenceable data validation streams.

Operational Pledge: Believers Journal of Health Sciences is committed to maintaining a responsible editorial workflow that supports fair assessment, timely communication, academic integrity, and the continuous publication of reliable health sciences research.
